Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsible for providing statistical support for research and development of analytic services and projects, as well as for ensuring projects will meet statistical criteria and ensuring procedures for accuracy checking of programs are followed. Project results are presented in both written and verbal form for varying technical audiences.
Position Qualifications:
Designing, developing and unit-testing SAS and Oracle PL/SQL program code, functions and scripts to efficiently extract, merge and manipulate large volumes of healthcare data · Developing suitable sampling frames and plans, and select samples to meet project goals and objectives · Ensuring the most appropriate statistical analysis is performed · Creating monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad-hoc reports · Designing and creating appropriate visual representation of data Required Skills/Abilities: · Experience working effectively with large databases using SAS and accessing Oracle relational and STAR schema models · Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in health services analytics and research · Experience with Medicaid and Medicare claims data · Understanding of basic medical terminology · Ability to express results of projects in both written and verbal form for varying technical audiences
Salary Range:
$75,000-$85,000
