Position Title:
Statistician / Senior Statistician
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Build advanced statistical models for customer targeting and segmentation that will optimize acquisition/retention efforts and increase profitability • Collaborate and communicate with business partners to identify business problems and opportunities including segmentation, targeting, ROI analysis, customer acquisition, attrition/retention/loyalty, advertising effectiveness analysis, and market mix • Develop and implement test designs for marketing programs and track model performance • Utilize large volume of internal and external data sources in model development and statistical analysis
Position Qualifications:
• MS or Ph.D. in Statistics or related disciplines • Experience in statistical modeling, data mining and database marketing • Knowledge of statistical techniques including logistic regression, cluster analysis, decision tree methods, factor analysis and survival analysis • Strong SAS programming skills • Web analytics experience a plus • Proven project management, presentation and written communication skills
