Duties & Responsibilities:
The Department of Biostatistics of Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health seeks applicants for a faculty position in Biostatistics at the Assistant Professor rank. Successful candidates will be able to conduct interdisciplinary work around disparities in health research, particularly in the areas of race and health. Preference will be given to applicants who have experience developing and implementing training / pipeline programs that encourage underrepresented minorities to pursue careers in biostatistics. Tenure track; salary is commensurate with experience.
Position Qualifications:
Doctorate or terminal degree required. Must have 3+ years of experience in teaching / running training programs. Must have strong demonstrated translational and interdisciplinary science track record.
