The Duke Human Vaccine Institute (DHVI) and the Center for HIV-AIDS Vaccine Immunology (CHAVI) has established a place of national and international leadership in the fight against major infectious diseases including the development of HIV, TB, and other vaccines. The DHVI and CHAVI have an immediate opening for a Biostatistician III.
Position Title:
Biostatistician III
Duties & Responsibilities:
The Biostatistician III will have the role of lead statistician for the IQA Program at DHVI. The IQAC is a resource designed to help domestic and international immunologists evaluate and enhance the integrity and comparability of immunological laboratory determinations performed on patients enrolled in multi-site HIV/AIDS therapeutic, vaccine and prevention investigations. This position will consult with the principal investigators and project leaders in developing statistical analysis plans and performing intermediate and advanced statistical analyses.
Position Qualifications:
The preferred candidate will have a Master’s degree or PhD in Biostatistics or related field with a minimum of 3 years related experience to include biological assay analysis, development, and assessment.
