The Center for Clinical Management Research is a Health Services Research & Development center within the VA Medical Center in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The center’s expert staff includes more than 30 MD and PhD investigators and 100 staff engaged in over 75 research projects. Annual funding exceeds $16 million. Investigators specialize in health behavior change, decision science, health system organization, quality improvement, implementation science, and quality/cost of care assessment. Core investigators are widely published and frequent presenters at national and international conferences.
Position Title:
Data Manager/Analyst
Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide consultation to project managers and research scientists on issues of data management (including survey design, database design, and data coding), study design, and statistical analysis for health services research projects. Manage large datasets. Conduct statistical analyses for a variety of different projects.
Position Qualifications:
Master’s in epidemiology, statistics, or biostatistics (or similar field) plus experience with analysis of health services data. Experience with computer-based data management and analysis software, including SAS, Stata, and/or Microsoft Access. Experience in managing large healthcare data sets preferred. U.S. citizenship required.
Salary Range:
$51,500 - $62,400 (depending on experience)
