We seek qualified statisticians for immediate employment in our Statistical Modeling Division located in Stamford, CT.

Position Title: Statistical Analyst

Duties & Responsibilities: * Maximize file penetration rate and return of investment through development of new client file strategy, segmentation techniques, and list selection. * Track campaign performance on a daily basis and conduct various statistical analysis specific to each client, recommend possible changes and testing for the upcoming campaigns based on analysis findings. * Build Segmentation Tree models (such as CART and CHAID) to maximize profitability in addition to acquisition models. * Initiate and implement various analysis and segmentation techniques for the assigned client base in order to maximize profitability. * Ensure accuracy of sample prepare requests, scoring execution and campaign selection. * Support companywide retention efforts and maximize lifetime value of members. * Support Product, Strategy and Sales groups for all requests regarding market research, segmentation analysis and CRM.

Position Qualifications: * MS in statistics or related disciplines (e.g., economics, sociology, demography, mathematics, computer sciences). Ph.D a plus. * Experts in Microsoft Suite: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Access. Advanced excel techniques such as pivot tables & macros and VISIO are preferred. * Knowledge of techniques related to decision tree algorithms, such as CHAID and CART. * Strong SAS skills and working experience in MVS & UNIX environment. * At least 1-2 years relevant experience applying technical knowledge in business applications such as database marketing and risk management.
