Position Title:
Tenure-track Assistant Professor of Applied Statistics
Duties & Responsibilities:
Candidates must have a completed or nearly completed Ph.D. in Statistics or closely related discipline; demonstrate success or high potential in producing excellent research and in effective teaching. Responsibilities include: conducting research; teaching Ph.D., masters (MS and MBA), and undergraduate courses in a full-spectrum Applied Statistics program; interaction with students, faculty, and businesses in data analyses; and service. Our department faculty maintains a rigorous research agenda in diverse quantitative areas including statistics, operations research, operations management, and information systems.
