Position Title:
Statistics Research Associate
Duties & Responsibilities:
The Research Associate is responsible for data collection, organization, mining, tracking, and analysis. S/he is also responsible for member and staff inquiries, providing support to the Research and Development team, and survey design and execution. Primary Responsibilities: • Orchestra Statistical Report (OSR): survey administration, extrapolations; data accuracy, historical trend analysis for the League’s annual survey • Data Requests: build longitudinally accurate data-sets for OSR and Salary Survey reports, analyze data, recognize trends, create reports, generate graphs, charts, Power-point presentations, • Data Warehouse: build and load longitudinally accurate data-sets for upload to the data warehouse, create report templates using LOGI XML – Studio and Ad-Hoc and facilitate historical OSR data upload to the warehouse, • Orchestra Financial Index – gather data quarterly, process submissions, analyze and create reports, • Liaison with consultants • Survey Creation: assist design and programming of surveys in Key Survey, general administration including gathering data, follow ups, reporting, • List-serves – monitoring, surveying, and responding with pertinent data/assistance. • Work collaboratively with members of all departments. • Other duties as assigned The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by the individual(s) assigned to this position. Position Qualifications:
Master’s degree with a minimum of 2--3 years of work experience. Candidate should have experience with SQL, SPSS and STATA as well as strong Excel skills required for financial modeling and trend analysis. The position requires the ability to analyze data, summarize findings and write clearly and accurately about them. Since this position works with League members, excellent customer service and communication skills are required. A knowledge of classical/orchestral music is beneficial.

Low to Mid $40's
