Grand Valley State University and the Department of Statistics emphasize effective teaching and professional development. The department offers an undergraduate major in Statistics and minors in Applied Statistics and Mathematical Statistics, and a Professional Science Master’s degree in Biostatistics. In addition, courses are offered in support of university graduate programs in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, Kirkhof College of Nursing, College of Health Professions and the College of Engineering and Computing. Position Title:
Visiting Instructor/Assistant Professor
Duties & Responsibilities:
Duties include teaching 4 three-hour courses per semester. Employment begins August 2012.
Position Qualifications:
Preference will be given to candidates with an M.S. or Ph.D. in Statistics, Biostatistics, or related field. A commitment to teaching excellence is required. Candidates must have an interest in using technology in the undergraduate curriculum.
Salary Range:
Commensurate with qualifications.
