Position Title:
Postdoctoral Fellow-Epidemiology, Biostatistics or related Quantitative field
Duties & Responsibilities:
A Postdoctoral Fellow position is available for a grant-funded position within the Division of Nephrology. The CKiD Study is a multi-center, prospective cohort study of children aged 1 to 16 years with chronic kidney disease. The scientific aims of CKiD have been to determine the risk factors for decline in kidney function and to define how progressive decline in kidney function impacts biomarkers of risk factors for cardiovascular disease; growth failure and its associated morbidity; and neurocognitive function and behavior. The Fellow will be responsible for Assisting with statistical analysis for multiple projects primarily related to Chronic Kidney Disease in children. Collaborating with lead investigators on various research protocol designs and data analyses plans including preparing data files and statistical reports
Position Qualifications:
Terminal degree (Ph.D. or MD) in Epidemiology, Biostatistics or related Quantitative field. All CHOP employees who work in a patient building or who provide patient care are required to receive an annual influenza vaccine unless they are granted a medical or religious exemption.
