Position Title:
Two Research Associates in Medical Statistics
Duties & Responsibilities:
In the early stages of drug development there often is uncertainty about the most promising among a set of different treatments. This project will develop a body of research in the area of multi-arm multi-stage clinical trials (MAMS) which aim to provide an efficient solution to this problem. The project is a cross-institutional initiative between the Statistics Groups at the Universities of Lancaster and the MRC Biostatistics Unit in Cambridge.
Position Qualifications:
Applicants should have, or be close to completing, a PhD in Statistics or related discipline. Good programming skills are essential and experience with adaptive or group sequential trials is desirable.
Salary Range:
£ 23,811 - £ 31,020
