Position Title: Assistant/Associate/Full Professor

Duties & Responsibilities: Candidates are sought for open faculty positions, including (1) a position in survey methodology, sampling, or related areas with support from the California Health Interview Survey, a flagship project of the UCLA Center for Health Policy Research, and (2) a position in statistics for mental-health research, with support from the FOCUS program on mental-health needs of military families based in the UCLA Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior. Possible additional positions will depend on availability of funding. Responsibilities will include research, teaching, and advising of graduate students in the Biostatistics Department, as well as collaborative activities linked to support from the respective allied research programs.

Position Qualifications: Qualifications include a Ph.D in statistics or biostatistics as well as strong written and oral communication skills. Preference will be given to candidates who have a demonstrated commitment to interdisciplinary research and teaching, a strong record of publications and extramural funding relevant to the allied research program, and demonstrated leadership qualities. Salary Range: Faculty appointment level and salary will be commensurate with the candidate’s experience and qualifications
