Position Title: Postdoctoral Fellow

Duties & Responsibilities: A full-time postdoctoral position in computational biology/systems biology is immediately available. The successful candidate will develop computational methods to characterize chromatin states and to investigate the functional relationship between chromatin state changes and cell-type identity in the context of stem cell biology and cancer. The candidate will have the opportunity to closely interact with various experimental biologists at Harvard Medical School. The position offers excellent scientific training opportunities in a highly stimulating and interdisciplinary environment.

Position Qualifications: Applicants should have a strong quantitative background and holds a Ph.D. in a related field (Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science) and are highly motivated to solve biological problems. Previous experience in analyzing large-scale biological data (microarray/RNAseq, ChIP-chip/seq, etc) is highly desirable. Good communication and programming skills (MATLAB, python, R, or C) are required. Familiarity with graphic modeling is a plus.

Salary Range: $53K (approximate)
