Position Title:
Postdoctoral Associate
Duties & Responsibilities:
Pending final administrative approval, we anticipate having an opening for a postdoctoral associate on an NIH-funded project focused on the development of network-based, high-dimensional sparse regression methods for detecting gene-gene and gene-environment interactions in genome-wide association studies. This would be a two-year position, projected to begin Fall 2012, in either the Department of Biostatistics or the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Boston University. Duties would include both research and teaching.
Position Qualifications:
Applicants should have a PhD in biostatistics/statistics, or in a closely related field. A strong commitment to research and teaching is essential. Experience in at least one, if not both, of high-dimensional regression and genome-wide association studies is preferable. Boston University is an Affirmative Action, Equal Opportunity employer.
