Position Title: postdoctoral

Duties & Responsibilities: Postdoctoral positions immediately available in Peng Qiu’s group in the Department of Bioinformatics and Computational Biology at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. We aim to study cancer by developing novel computational approaches and applying them to analyze high-dimensional biological data, such as RNA expression, DNA copy number, methylation, next-gen sequencing, and single-cell cytometric data.

Position Qualifications: We are recruiting creative and enthusiastic recent PhD graduates, with background in statistics, computer science or electrical engineering. Biologists or medical students with experience in computational approaches are also encouraged to apply. Experiences and interests in high-dimensional biological data analysis are required. We offer a highly stimulating environment and highly competitive salary ($65K/yr).
