Position Title: Postdoc

Duties & Responsibilities: The scope of this position includes developing statistical methods and computational algorithms to analyze large scale genomic, metagenomic, epigenomic, and transcriptomic data, with a focus on next generation sequencing data and their applications in biological threat detection and rare variant detection. This position is up to three years. The postdoc is expected to gain independence (grants and publications) after the fellowship training.

Position Qualifications: - Ph.D. degree in bioinformatics, statistics, computer science, computational biology or related area - Strong programming skills: (R or C or C++ ) + (Python or Perl) in Unix/Linux environment - Strong background in statistical modeling of large scale of high dimensional data - Excellent written and oral communication skills

Salary Range: DOE
