Duties & Responsibilities:
Department of Bioinformatics and Biostatistics, School of Public Health and Information Sciences, University of Louisville (http://louisville.edu/sphis/bb/) is inviting applications for a tenure track faculty position at the level of assistant professor starting Fall of 2013. Duties include but are not limited to conducting high quality methodological and collaborative research in biostatistics, taking part in various grants and consulting initiatives and teaching in the departmental graduate and/or undergraduate programs. While strong candidates from all research areas will be considered, we prefer candidates whose research areas are complementary to those of the existing faculty. The department currently maintains very successful MS and doctoral programs in biostatistics with a strong methodological component. It also takes part in a school based public health masters program. Applicants should hold a Ph.D. or equivalent in biostatistics, statistics, or a closely related discipline.
