The department consists of ten tenured faculty, two full-time lecturers, two graduate assistants, and a number of part-time adjuncts. The department has approximately 175 majors in four degree programs: Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Mathematics/Adolescence Education, and Mathematics/Middle Childhood Education, and about 15 students in the MSED – Mathematics graduate program.
Position Title:
Assistant Professor
Duties & Responsibilities:
Faculty will teach courses primarily at the undergraduate level, contribute to curriculum development and refinement, do research, provide academic advisement to students, participate in department and university governance, and provide service to the department, college, university, and profession.
Position Qualifications:
PhD/ABD in Statistics, or closely related field; disposition to teach statistics using a learner- and data-centered approach, with appropriate technology.
