Position Title:
Biostatistician
Duties & Responsibilities:
Applications are being accepted for a full-time faculty position as a biostatistician effective immediately. The successful individual will play a major leadership role in further developing biostatistical approaches in research in a top U.S. School of Nursing that is closely aligned with top Schools of Medicine and Public Health. Collaboration or consultation with faculty, PhD students and Postdoctoral Fellows on design, data management and statistical methods for research proposals and current research projects; teaching statistics at the graduate level; and the preparation of reports and manuscripts.
Position Qualifications:
PhD in biostatistics or in another field with proficiency in biostatistics; proficiency in SPSS, STATA, and SAS; expertise in multivariate general linear modeling, longitudinal modeling, structural equation modeling and generalized linear modeling; and statistical and data management consulting expertise. Expertise in time series analysis and cluster analysis and experience with NIH grant applications is desirable.
