Position Title: Senior Research Associate - Statistician (18573BR)

Duties & Responsibilities: With the expansion of DuPont Pioneer Ag-biotech business and the increase of global regulatory demands, data increases in scale and complexity. It is critical to properly transcribe data files, manage SAS programs, and generate high-quality report tables and figures. This position will utilize state-of-the-art technological tool to streamline the data flow between functional groups such as data generating groups (lab, field, greenhouse, etc.), statistics, report writing and quality assurance. The incumbent will provide support in the following areas: Develop SAS programs to produce data listings and to derive datasets for statistical analyses. Develop SAS programs to generate tables and graphs according to the request of statistics and report writing groups. Test and validate SAS programs for Quality Control and Quality Assurance purpose. Assist the statistics group in other statistical programming-related tasks. Produce data listings from various sources and derive data for statistical analyses performed in the Regulatory Science Group. Generate tables and graphs required for regulatory global and regional submission. Prepare documents to describe SAS programs and maintain SAS program libraries. Develop, test and validate SAS programs for Quality Control and Quality Assurance purpose. Contribute to other statistical programming-related tasks, such as database development, data validation plan, randomization of study subjects, and blinding process. Convert multiple sheets of data report forms into a single table of data listings and derive variables for statistical modeling. Convert statistical analyses results to tables and figures in the format specified by statistics and report writing groups. Identify an efficient way to import data from various sources and convert them into a single data listing table.

Position Qualifications: Master's degree in statistics, biostatistics, math, computer science, or related field; knowledge in chemistry, agronomy, agricultural biotechnology is a plus. Competency in descriptive statistics, basic experimental designs and analyses. Minimum of 2-4 years experience in using SAS and understanding of SAS data structure required. Work experience as a SAS programmer is a plus. Motivated, attention to detail, ability and willingness to learn. Good interpersonal communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with individuals with different scientific backgrounds.
