Position Title:
Machine Learning Specialist- Business Analytics
Duties & Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will interact with scientists and business leaders across Dow AgroSciences’ business functions. Key job responsibilities will include development and application of mathematical algorithms and software to mine business datasets. Topics of interest include manufacturing, supply chain, marketing, purchasing, forecasting, decision tree analysis, game theory, discrete event simulation, monte carlo simulation, mathematical programming, and optimization. Identification of business projects as well as analysis, interpretation and presentation of results is also expected. Strong communication skills are essential along with an ability to collaborate effectively with business partners.
Position Qualifications:
Applicants for this position have a Ph.D. in mathematics, applied mathematics, operations research or closely related field. Familiarity with applications in business is highly desirable. Primary Location North America-USA-Indiana-Indianapolis
