Position Title:
Research Analyst Survivorship
Duties & Responsibilities:
The Research Analyst manages day-to-day aspects of participant enrollment and survey administration for a randomized controlled trial of an online self-management workshop for post-treatment cancer survivors. Directly supports a project of the National Cancer Survivorship Resource Center. Apply randomization schemes to study cohorts. Conduct surveys in support of study design. Assist with quantitative data analysis. Manage the administration of incentives for survey completion. Monitor study mailbox and reply to constituent inquiries. Submit study revisions and/or renewals to the IRB. Ensure adherence to study protocol. Position Qualifications:
Graduate degree in public health or related field. Understanding of evaluation methodology. Knowledge of analytic programming tools and methods. Knowledge of chronic disease and self-management preferred. Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience. Ability to manage and analyze large datasets. Demonstrated use of statistical software, such as SAS or SPSS, to analyze data. Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, with strong attention to detail. Proficient in oral and written communications. Ability to interact with internal and external constituencies from multiple disciplines involved in study activities.
