Position Title:
MS Epidemiologic Research Analyst
Duties & Responsibilities:
The Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy & Clinical Practice is seeking an Epidemiologic Research Analyst to participate in the epidemiologic analysis and reporting of health care data in a collaborative health services research environment. Perform delegated responsibilities that include analytic planning and analysis related to health services research investigating epidemiologic patterns of healthcare, incidence, prevalence and cost of diseases, conditions, and disabling illnesses, as well as the provision and administration of care, managed care and insurance programs using extremely large claims databases. The Epidemiologic Research Analyst must work effectively in a team environment while maintaining focus on customer needs and project quality. The successful candidate will demonstrate problem solving with a high level of intellectual curiosity.
Position Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Epidemiology, Biostatistics or Public Health. Experience in epidemiologic studies and methods. Experience with SAS, Stata familiarity a plus. Experience in analysis using large datasets. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
