Position Title:
Statistician 2/Analytic Programmer
Duties & Responsibilities:
Exciting opportunity to work with an active research group investigating ways to improve human health. Responsibilities include performing statistical analyses and SAS programming.
Position Qualifications:
Familiarity with linear and logistic regression, longitudinal analysis and survival analysis methods required; experience with missing data methods, clinical trials, or S-Plus programming a plus. Master’s degree in statistics or biostatistics required. At least 4 years of experience is desirable; salary commensurate with prior experience. The strong candidate will be able to understand a research problem, implement appropriate statistical methods in collaboration with a senior statistician, review diagnostics of model appropriateness, and communicate results both orally and in writing, can work independently, and able to assist in the mentoring of more junior statisticians.
