Position Title:
Statistician
Duties & Responsibilities:
* interact with scientists from biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies in order to devise and implement analysis methods tailored to novel experiments * perform data analyses on proof-of-principle experiments to assess the relevance of the new methods * provide input to OpenAnalytics colleagues that develop the hardware and software infrastructure to integrate the novel methods in the business processes of our customers
Position Qualifications:
* MSc / PhD in Statistics, Applied Mathematics or Computer Scienceinterested to work on applied modeling problems * team player and good communicator with fluency in English, verbal and written * a sound knowledge of R is required, experience with BioConductor is an asset
