Position Title:
Specialist - Research
Duties & Responsibilities:
CSTAT has an open slot for a Specialist; we are looking to fill it with someone with skills similar to a Senior Bio-Statistician. The Specialist will work collaboratively with the Director and Associate Director to carry out the mission of CSTAT. Further the Specialist will assist CSTAT clients through statistical consultation, bid preparation as needed for project work, assist clients with grant development and sponsored research.
Position Qualifications:
•Doctorate degree in bio-statistics, statistics or related field including other doctoral degrees with a strong quantitative emphasis • Knowledge of diverse set of applied statistical methodologies • Expertise in diverse statistical software • Interest in health, clinical, and community-based research • Strong self-motivated, excellent organizational planning, and detail oriented • Two or more years of related and expansive experience in statistical consulting, research, or data analysis • Strong interpersonal skills and written and oral communication skills with proven ability to be successful working independently and in a team environment • Experience with grant writing and funded research
Salary Range:
Salary commensurate with degree and experience.
