Position Title:
Postdoctoral Fellow - Statistical Genetics
Duties & Responsibilities:
This post-doctoral position is focused on the development of statistical methods and software for the analysis of human genetic data for a wide range of studies ranging from case-control disease etiology to pharmacogenomics. The candidate will benefit from collaboration with colleagues at Mayo Clinic and elsewhere to utilize the rapidly growing very large body of genomic transcriptomic proteomic and metabolomic data.
Position Qualifications:
Credentials of a successful candidate will include a Ph.D. in a quantitative field such as statistics, math, computer science, or physics, and have a demonstrated interest in the development of statistical methods for analysis of genetic data. This position may be held 1-3 years contingent upon annual review of performance. Only U.S. citizens or permanent residents (green card holders) are eligible to be supported by grant funding.
Salary Range:
$70000 - $80000 per year
