Description:
The Huttenhower lab in the Department of Biostatistics at the Harvard School of Public Health is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Fellow. This researcher will join a growing lab working in the area of functional genomic data integration, with a particular focus on metazoan interaction network analysis as applied to the study of human disease. The successful applicant will pursue research in heterogeneous data integration, develop computational models of tissue- and time-specific protein function, perform data mining for functional linkages to disease, and collaborate closely with biologists.
Qualifications:
Doctoral degree in Computer Science, Biology, Bioinformatics, or a related field; familiarity with diverse genomic data types, particularly microarray integration and meta-analysis, as indicated by publication record; proficient in C/C++ and appropriate scripting languages; ability to communicate scientific material and collaborate well.
