overview: Case
Western
Reserve University School of Medicine (CWRU) seeks to hire a
doctoral-level
faculty (Assistant or Associate Professor) in the Center for Clinical
Investigation (CCI). Associate professor
rank requires additional sustained contributions and a national
reputation for
research accomplishment. Candidates must have a PhD or equivalent in
biostatistics, epidemiology, bioinformatics, or a closely related field
and a
strong commitment to teaching and collaborative research in a medical
environment. The
mission
of the CCI is to create and foster clinical and translational research
efforts
campus-wide and to equip future generations of clinical researchers
with the
skills needed to efficiently design, implement, and interpret clinical
and
translational research studies. The successful candidate will develop
and lead
new academic programs in clinical investigation via the Clinical
Research
Scholars Program, collaborate with clinical researchers on design and
analysis
of randomized intervention studies and/or epidemiologic cohort studies,
and
conduct project related methodological research. Salary:
