Position Title: Postdoctoral Fellow

Duties & Responsibilities: The primary focus will be on statistical analysis biological interpretation and software engineering.

Position Qualifications: The Department of Bioinformatics and Computational Biology at the University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center has a postdoctoral position open for bioinformatic research related to data from The Cancer Genome Atlas project. The postdoctoral fellow will work under the supervision of Dr. John N. Weinstein M.D. Ph.D. Required are strong computer science skills including programming in R Java C++ Perl and SQL. Must be able to design advanced websites and be experienced with UNIX and LINUX. Preferred are analytical skills including competence in multivariate statistics and artificial intelligence. Required also is a biological background.

Salary Range: $65000 USD
