Position Title: Assistant Professor

Position Qualifications: Preference will be given to candidates whose research specialty is in any area of Statistics. While the position is targeted at the Assistant Professor rank others may be considered. We are looking for candidates who have demonstrated excellence in teaching and who are interested in mentoring students and in directing students in independent work. The strongest candidates will have post-doctoral experience have a strong research agenda and show significant progress in their research. It is a priority of Pomona College and its Mathematics Department to have faculty who have experience working with students from diverse backgrounds and a demonstrated commitment to improving access to and success in higher education for underrepresented students.
