Company Information: The Division of Biostatistics University of Maryland Greenebaum Cancer Center and Department of Epidemiology and Preventive Medicine seeks a statistical analyst to join a biostatistics group of 15 faculties at a growing medical school and cancer center. The biostatistics group has a strong track record in both collaborative and methodological research including clinical trials methodology survival analysis longitudinal models Bayesian methods and statistical bioinformatics. The University of Maryland School of Medicine is one of the fastest growing biomedical research centers in the country with grants and contracts exceeding $420 million in fiscal year 2009. Position Title: Statistical Research Analyst

Duties & Responsibilities: Responsibilities include creating data sets and performing statistical analyses writing statistical reports and assisting in study design and sample size calculation.

Position Qualifications: Requirements: BS in biostatistics (MA/MS/MPH in Bio/statistics preferred) proficiency with database and statistical software (e.g. SAS and Splus) and excellent communication skills.
