Company Information: The Department of Mathematical Sciences contributes to the mission of the University through scholarly endeavors engagement of students and outreach to the community and the profession. The department offers courses in mathematics mathematics education and statistics and has undergraduate programs in mathematics as well as a Master of Science program with a concentration in Mathematics and a concentration in Statistics. The department features an energetic faculty with an active colloquia and seminar series including a Distinguished Lecture Series. In addition many faculty members are active in professional organizations some serving in leadership positions at the regional and national levels. Position Title: Assistant Professor of Statistics Duties & Responsibilities: The duties of the successful applicants include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses supervising MS degree candidates producing scholarship and performing professional service. The successful candidate will have research and teaching interests that complement those of the current faculty and will be committed to strengthening the department’s undergraduate and graduate programs. The successful candidate will also be expected to provide consulting expertise to the general university community.
