EPIDEMIOLOGIST

Salary based on experience and qualification


We are seeking an experienced Epidemiologist to join the Diabetes Epidemiology and Pharmacogenetics Research group within the School of Medicine. The purpose of this post is to provide epidemiology and biostatistical input to some of the epidemiological research being conducted by the group. The post holder will be expected to be knowledgeable about methods commonly used in epidemiology including study design and disease coding, and to have good data management and data manipulation skills. A degree in epidemiology or a numerate discipline and experience of data analysis are essential. Applications from those with a background in a clinical discipline are encouraged.


This position is full-time and is available for three years in the first instance.
