Position Title:
Assistant Professor of Statistics and Psychiatry (Joint position)
Duties & Responsibilities:
The Departments of Statistics and Psychiatry have an opening for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position beginning September 2012, pending budgetary approval. This joint position (primary in Department of Statistics) involves statistical research, collaboration with psychiatric researchers, and teaching in the Department of Statistics. The collaborative work is with one of the premier psychiatric research departments in the country, whose activities involve clinical trials, biological studies of psychiatric disorders, and services research. The Department of Statistics is a dynamic department with a strong research focus and a high level of interdisciplinary activity.
Position Qualifications:
Statistics or Biostatistics PhD with strong research, teaching and computing skills.
