The Statistics Department offers a program of study leading to a BS in Statistics as well as a minor in Statistics to students majoring in other disciplines, and teaches a full complement of service courses to students from all across the campus. The department currently has 14 tenure-track faculty, all with Ph.D.'s, plus two full-time and several part-time lecturers. Faculty members come from diverse backgrounds, and have a wide spectrum of emphasis areas in statistics, but all are committed to offering an interesting and relevant curriculum in statistics at the undergraduate level. Position Title:
Instructional Faculty - academic year; Tenure Track
Duties & Responsibilities:
Primary duties will be teaching undergraduate statistics service classes to other majors, with occasional teaching of upper level statistics classes. Expectation of continued professional growth and scholarly activity.
Position Qualifications:
Ph.D. in Statistics or closely related discipline required. Must have commitment to quality undergraduate teaching and continuing professional development.
Salary Range:
Rank and salary are commensurate with qualifications and experience.
