Company Information: The Medical College of Wisconsin located in the suburbs of Milwaukee is a free standing medical college offering MD degrees in medicine and PhD in related biological areas. The College, with its community partners Marquette University, The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, The Milwaukee School of Engineering, The VA Medical Center and the Blood Center of Wisconsin has recently been awarded a Clinical and Translational Science Award from NIH. This position is with the Biostatistics Consulting Service at MCW which provides statistical support to investigators throughout the greater Milwaukee area. The Division of Biostatistics is the home for this free collaborative service currently supported by 6 faculty, 3 MS statisticians and several graduate students. Position Title: Biostatistician

Duties & Responsibilities: The biostatistician will collaborate on the design, conduct, analysis, and interpretation of research projects with medical investigators in Milwaukee. They will work closely with faculty statisticians on collaborative research projects.

Position Qualifications: The successful candidate will have knowledge of biostatistical methodology, be proficient with statistical programming packages, and possess good communication and writing skills. He or she will have sufficient experience to function fairly independently under the general direction of a faculty biostatistician and grant principal investigators. Minimum requriements are a Master's degree in biostatistics/statistics, programming skills in SAS, ability to manage, integrate and analyze large data sets, and experience in a consulting environment.

Salary Range: Salary is commensurate with experience
