Associate Professor
Duties & Responsibilities:
The Department of Sociology and the Department of Statistics invite applications for a joint tenure-track position at the rank of Associate Professor with tenure in Sociology and Statistics. Applicants at the advanced Assistant Professor level without tenure will also be considered.
Position Qualifications:
Candidates should have expertise in advanced statistics and quantitative methodology and should be able to teach courses in these areas. The candidate should have an active research agenda in a substantive area within sociology and in statistical methodology. Candidates must have a PhD in Sociology, Statistics or a related field with strong potential for excellence in teaching and research.
