Position Title:
Sr. Research Analyst
Duties & Responsibilities:
The Sr. Research Analyst will interact with laboratory and clinical personnel in the generation and management of genetic data, while functioning as a member of a multidisciplinary research/study team under the direction of the Analytic Project Manager(s) and Project PI’s. Responsibilities and duties will include, but are not limited to: - Efficiently preparing data, conducting statistical analysis and summarizing results for large research projects. - Preparing written reports to document and to summarize analytic activities. - Participating in the development and testing of efficient protocols for the collection, verification, management and analysis of large amounts of genotypic and phenotypic data.
Position Qualifications:
Applicants should Master’s degree in an area relevant to data analysis and/or biological research with three years experience (preferred). Work experience, including an internship in a related field, is a prerequisite. Additionally, applicants are expected to: - Work efficiently on both PC and UNIX/Linux platforms. - Be familiar with data management and analysis software, including programs for human pedigree analysis, basic statistical software, and query-based extraction of clinical and laboratory data from a large relational database. - Adapt quickly to new software and analysis methods. - Familiarity with statistical software (SAS, R, STATA) is required.
Salary Range:
$37,149.67 - $74,722.50
