Position Title: Postdoctoral position in Bioinformatics

Duties & Responsibilities: This a two-year post-doctoral positition with a possibility of further extension. A successful candidate is expected to pursue methodological research in Bioinformatics/Biostatistics and work on collaborative biomedical projects. The laboratory is involved in various externally funded methodological and collaborative biomedical research projects and activities ranging from analysis of next-gen sequencing data to developing novel statistical/machine learning computational methods. Position Qualifications: PhD in Binformatics, Biostatistics, Computer Science or related field, or advanced pre-doctoral candidates. Strong statistical and computational background is essential. Experience in analyzing microarray or next-gen sequencing data as well as understanding of molecular biology and gene expression regulation would all be a big plus.
