The Forsyth Institute, the world’s leading independent oral and craniofacial biology research organization located in Cambridge, MA and a Harvard affiliate is seeking a scientist to provide statistical support to members of Forsyth’s research staff.
Position Title:
Duties & Responsibilities:
The successful candidate must be able to work independently regarding study design, power calculations, data analysis, and interpretation of results and have experience in the design of studies and analyses involving longitudinal and/or multi-level data. Other desirable areas of expertise may include clinical trials design, design of experimental (laboratory) studies, analysis of high-dimensional data, and data management. She/he will have a record of research contributions, including first-author role or lead biostatistician role on peer-reviewed publications. An interest in research on biostatistics or epidemiologic methods is desirable.
Position Qualifications:
Candidates should possess a M.S., Ph.D., or equivalent experience in biostatistics or epidemiology with a strong statistical background and solid inter-personal and communication skills. Compensation and rank are commensurate with qualifications and experience. This position is available immediately.
