Position Title:
PostDoctoral Senior Fellow
Duties & Responsibilities:
Research topics include, but are not limited to: 1) Developing new methodology and theory for inferring high dimensional biological networks, studying dynamics of networks, and analysis of network data representing heterogeneous biological samples. 2) Developing new methodology and theory for incorporating network information into the analysis of multiple sources of omics data, through multi-resolution and dimension reduction methods for high dimensional networks.
Position Qualifications:
The successful candidate should have a strong record of research in machine learning, statistics, and/or computational systems biology, evidenced by high quality publications, as well as good communication and team work skills, and be able to lead research and develop ideas independently. Strong background in statistics/math and good programming skills are highly desirable. Applications are also welcomed from applicants interested in exploring other areas of research in the intersection of statistical machine learning, complex network theory, and systems biology.
