Position Title:
Lecturer/Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor in Operations Research/Stochastic Modelling
Duties & Responsibilities:
The recent launch of the Industry Doctoral Training Centre at the University of Technology, Sydney has created a demand for enhanced undergraduate and postgraduate training programs in the general area of operations research and stochastic modelling. In addition to teaching undergraduate subjects that focus on operations research and/or stochastic modelling, you will participate in the supervision of postgraduate students in the Industry Doctoral Training Centre. In this role, you will actively engage with industry, commerce, government and the professions to seek out problems that require mathematical methods for their solution and formulate competitive bids for industry-linkage grants.
Position Qualifications:
PhD in a related discipline.
Salary Range:
83794 - 130747 Australian dollars per annum
