Position Title:
Assistant/Associate Professor
Duties & Responsibilities:
This appointment is within the Department of Statistics, with joint appointment involving research collaboration at the Center for Health, Intervention, and Prevention (CHIP) at UConn (www.chip.uconn.edu). Responsibilities will include methodological and interdisciplinary research in biostatistics with applications in behavioral and social sciences. It will also include teaching at both graduate and undergraduate levels, and supervision of MS and Ph. D. students in statistics.
Position Qualifications:
Candidates must hold a doctoral degree in statistics, biostatistics or a closely related discipline. Equivalent foreign degrees are acceptable. An established research record in the area of biostatistics is required as well as strong interpersonal and communication skills. Expertise in factor analysis, meta-analysis, missing data, multilevel modeling, and structural equation modeling is desirable.
Salary Range:
Salary is competitive based on experience and qualifications.
