Position Title: Senior Biostatistician

Duties & Responsibilities: The Roswell Park Cancer Institute Division of Health Research Inc. is seeking a full-time Senior Biostatistician to perform work of a more complex nature involving the adaptation or modification of existing biostatistical techniques or the development of new biostatistical methods to address clinical or scientific research problems. The incumbent will design clinical and scientific studies with statistical design principles in collaboration with junior and senior clinical and scientific staff, design, implement and use computer databases for research projects, and conduct analyses of biomedical data with statistical software. Further duties will include writing statistical and data analyses sections of clinical protocols, research grant proposals, reports and biomedical publications, presenting work at local and national meetings, supporting educational efforts, contributing to the Institute's graduate program by teaching formal and didactic courses, as well as contributing to the mentoring of graduate students.

Position Qualifications: Applicants must possess a Master’s degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, Biometry or a related field and the equivalent of 2 years of full-time experience in Biostatistics or Biomathematics Consulting. NOTE: Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Cancer Institute as following acceptable educational practices.
