Position Title: Assistant or Associate Professor

Duties & Responsibilities: The Division of Biostatistics in the School of Public Health at Yale University is accepting applications for a ladder faculty member at the level of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor. This position requires the ability to do collaborative research in the Program of Translational Research, School of Medicine. The Yale School of Public Health has existing collaborations with the School of Medicine, particularly with the Yale Clinical and Translational Science Award and throughout the university. The successful candidate will be expected to develop methodological research in his/her area of interest in translational research. In addition, the successful candidate will be expected to teach MPH/PhD level students.

Position Qualifications: Applicants should have a PhD by the start of appointment in statistics, biostatistics, or a closely related field.Preference will be given to those with experience in the development and application of statistical methodology in translational research in the following areas: biomarker evaluation, model selection and risk prediction methods, biomarker guided interventional trials and multi-center studies.
