Company Information: A postdoctoral Research Fellow position with a focus on analysis of large-scale observational databases is available in the University of Michigan Kidney Epidemiology and Cost Center (UM-KECC) within the Biostatistics department. The UM-KECC carries out epidemiological, clinical, medical outcomes, public policy, and economic research relating to End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD), Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD), and Organ transplantation.

Position Title: Postdoctoral Research Fellow

Duties & Responsibilities: Applicant will be supervised by Yi Li, Professor of Biostatistics and Director of the UM-KECC, and will be joining a dynamic interdisciplinary research group utilizing CMS database information for data modeling.

Position Qualifications: Experience with quantitative data analysis and proficiency with commonly used statistical/numerical analysis packages. Solid quantitative aptitude, excellent communication skills, attention to detail, strong writing abilities, and the ability to meet deadlines are essential. A PhD in biostatistics or statistics is required. Prior work in longitudinal data analysis, survival analysis or causal inference is preferred.

Salary Range: competitive and commensurate with experience
