Position Title: Research Assistant/Statistician

Duties & Responsibilities: The Research Assistant/Statistician will serve as the data analyst working with the National Survey of Child and Adolescent Well-being (NSCAW) longitudinal data. The assistant will also advise PI on the use of appropriate statistical methods. Essential Functions: • Recoding variables and merging datasets in SAS and/or SPSS • Conducting statistical analysis (i.e. logistic regression and other multivariate analyses) for research manuscripts for publication • Advising the PI on appropriate statistical methodology • Contributing to results section for research publications • Other duties as assigned.

Position Qualifications: • Masters or doctoral degree preferred • At least 1-2 years experience writing data analysis • Expertise using computer statistical packages, including SPSS (preferred) and/or SAS • Strong interpersonal, written/oral communication and organizational skills • Ability to work under minimal supervision.
