Company Information: The School of Mathematics and Applied Statistics is one of the strongest and most vibrant in Australia. It has two university research strengths, including the Centre for Statistical and Survey Methodology (CSSM). CSSM has extensive research and consulting contracts with external agencies and several ARC funded research projects. The Australian Bureau of Statistics funds a research professor in statistical methodology, scholarships and cadetships for our undergraduates. CSIRO and the Grains Research Development Corporation fund a research professor in biometry.

Position Title: Lecturer in Statistics - 3 years fixed term position

Duties & Responsibilities: Make a strong contribution in teaching statistics to students in mathematics and other disciplines, research and consulting.

Position Qualifications: A PhD in statistics or a cognate area and an active research program in an area of statistics compatible with current research interests within the school.

Salary Range: $AUD 77,104 (min) - $AUD 97,560 (max)
