Position Title:
Biostatistician II
Duties & Responsibilities:
This position, under administrative guidance, collaborates in designing and monitoring biomedical research projects and assumes primary responsibility for the analysis and presentation of project data. Duties will include developing objectives, designing sampling as well as randomization and data collections procedures in health and clinical studies; designing tables and statistical procedures for specific research studies, monitoring and assessing data quality; writing statistical report and/or publications. Must have experience in analyzing data using statistical packages; organizing data and communicating statistical concepts to non-statisticians.
Position Qualifications:
Master's degree in Biostatistics, Statistics or related field and one year of related experience. Additional experience may be used on a one-to-one basis to offset the educational requirements. The university offers market competitive salary and benefits. Grade EG. Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Biostatistics or Statistics. • Experience in clinical and/or biomedical research. • Strong statistical computing skills including R and SAS programming skills. • Interest and ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary research projects • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
